Antique Ostby Barton Sterling & 10K Agate Ring - Size 6 (adjustable).Features a genuine, emerald-cut Picture Agate with beautiful natural characteristics. The agate is black & white/clear, bezel set in a solid sterling silver setting with flowers adorning each shoulder.Highly Collectible item, as Cornelius Ostby perished on the Titanic. He was a founder of the Ostby Barton Jewelry Company. This ring would have been popular right around the sinking of the Titanic, making it just over 100 years old!In good condition with normal signs of wear or patina. The shank has been cut, and can be soldered to size or worn adjustable. Currently size 6.5 on the mandrel. Hallmarked OB STERLING.
