Original late 19th or early 20th century unique and unusual "devil damper," amazingly intact. The exact fabricator is not known. The figural satyr with horns, hoofs, and pitchfork remains in great overall condition. This odd fireplace accessory was used as a chimney damper pull. The long length of chain would be affixed to his outstretched hand. Measures 6 1/2 inches tall. As-Is.
