First, this was my Dad’s watch. I started to like watches when I was about 8 years old and he gave me this watch. I have owned this watch for a long time. I recently put a new battery in it, an Energizer, gave it a gentle shake and it has been running for the last 3 months. I have never been able to tell if the dial is very dark blue or black, at times, it looks like both colors. The crystal is acrylic and has scratches on it and a few hard hits, the worst being at about the 4 o’clock position. The crystal is not cracked. The crystal just show honest wear and I did clean it with Meguiars PlastX, which I have used for years. I kept the original brass spring bars with the watch as shown. The watch has a chrome plated brass case with a stainless steel case back. The crown is also chrome plated brass and most of the chrome is gone. Please see all photos as they are the description.
