This is a stunning 1920's Whiting & Davis silver tone mesh gate top purse, beggars bag or accordion purse in excellent condition.It has lovely shiny silver mesh and a pretty etched lid, has some corrosion, no dents or dings.The interior lining has no rips or repairs and is clean and free from damage.It measures approximately 7 inches from the lid to the bottom of the center point and has a nice chain handle that is also in good condition, and the gate opens to about 4 inches in diameter. It has a pretty pointed bottom that makes this bag much more unique than the usual gate top bags.
